Abstract (2. Language):
Participle Complements have a wide range of usage both in German and Turkish. In this study in which we deal with how adjective-verb complements are used in both languages, it has been found out that the usage is the same: the participles are used as adjectives, and the complement is also an adjective complement in both languages. Moreover, it has also been discovered that there are four participles in Turkish while two in German and that they are equivalent to the relative clauses together with the subordinates.

Gerek Almanca, gerek Türkçe'de ortaçlar geniş bir kullanıma sahiptirler. Ortaçların her iki dilde nasıl kullanıldığını ele aldığımız bu çalışmada, kullanımın iki dilde de aynı olduğu, ortaçların iki dilde de sıfat gibi kullanıldığı, tamlamanın da aslında sıfat tamlaması olduğu sonucuna varıldı. Ayrıca, Almanca'da iki ortaç yapısı olmasına karşın Türkçe'de dört ortaç eki olduğu ve bunların yan tümce türlerinden ortaçlara karşılık geldiği görüldü.
