Lipoprotein (a) levels were studied in 5 patients whose biochemical and transvaginal ultrasonographic findings were consistent with polycystic ovarian syndrome. Eleveted serum lipoprotein (a) levels were detected in 4 out of 5 patients.

İnönü Ünüversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Ab. D.'na başvuran ve polikistik over hastalığı tanısı konan 5 hastada kan lipoprotein düzeyleri değerlendirildi. Polikistik over hastalığı tanısı; kan LH, FSH, testosteron, androstenedion, SHBG değerleri ve överlerin transvaginal ultrasonogram bulguları ile kondu. Hastaların 4'ünde lipoprotein (a) düzeyleri yüksek saptandı.
