Günümüzde klasik periodontal tedavileri desteklemek amacı ile pekçok anüplak alan kullanılmaktadır. Klor-heksidin, sanguinarin, listcrin bunlar arasında en sık kullanılmış olan kemoterapötiklcr arasındadır.
