The relationship between unionized employees' attitudes of commitment to their company and to their representing union, popularly termed dual commitment, has gained increasing interest among organizational researchers since 1950s. Company and union commitment have a great importance to understanding of attitudes and behaviors of employees. And that issue have to research, because it has assist to both of company and union's continuousness. While company commitment is negatively related to turnover and absenteeism and is positively related to satisfaction, union commitment is especialy related positively to union participation. In this study we try to explain theoretical framework dual commitment.

İkili bağlılık .şeklinde ifade edilen sendikalı işçilerin isletmelerine ve sendikalarına yönelik tutumları arasındaki ilişki, 1950'lerden beri artan bir ilgi konusu olmuştur. İşletmeye ve sendikaya bağlılık, çalışanların tutum ve davranışlarını anlamak bakımından önem taşıdığı gibi, her iki örgütün de sürekliliğine yaptığı katkı nedeniyle incelenmesi gereken bir konudur, İşletmeye bağlılık işçi devri ve yabaalaşmayı azaltıp, doyumu artırırken, sendikal bağlılık özellikle katılımı desteklemektedir. Bu çalışmada ikili bağlılığın teorik çerçevesi çizilmeye çalışılmıştır.
