İt is explained this article that importance of epic poem, Turkish cultural life position of this epic poem that is consisted of islamic and no-İslamic. Turkis epic poem is before İslam: Alp ErTonga, Oğuz Kağan, Bozkurt, Ergenekon, Uygur and After İslam: battle of Hz. Ali, Hamza-nâme, Müseyyeb-nâme, Ebû Müslüm-nâme, Battal-nâme, Danişmend-nâme, Saltuk-nâme. İt is emphasize importance of Battal-nâme and mentioned summary of this Battal-nâme that after given information of Battal Gazi and his life and this epic poem.
