The best facility location is the best place where provides all necessary economic, social, environmental and technical conditions for business‟s production or sale activities. The mistakes in selection of facility location cause some problems about the return of investment. There are so many criterias that must be taken into consideration in facility location selection. These criterias differ from sector to sector. Most of the choices are qualitative for selection decisions. In this study, a new shop‟s facility location problem in a shopping center chain, evaluated with Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). The most convenient location selected between three candidate shops, towards the criterias determinated by decision makers.

ĠĢletmeler için en iyi kuruluĢ yeri, üretim veya satıĢ faaliyetlerinin sürdürülebilmesi için gerekli olan ekonomik, sosyal, çevresel ve teknik koĢulların en iyi Ģekilde sağlandığı yer olarak tanımlanmaktadır. KuruluĢ yerinin seçimindeki bir takım yanlıĢlıklar, yapılan yatırımın geri dönüĢünde sıkıntılara yok açmaktadır. Dolayısıyla kuruluĢ yeri seçim kararı stratejik önem taĢımaktadır. KuruluĢ yeri seçiminde dikkate alınması gereken pek çok kriter bulunmaktadır. Söz konusu kriterler, faaliyet gösterilen sektöre bağlı olarak değiĢiklik göstermektedir. Seçim kararı için yapılan tercihlerin çoğu niteliksel karakterlidir. Yapılan çalıĢmada, bir alıĢveriĢ merkezi zincirine dahil edilecek olan yeni bir mağazanın kuruluĢ yeri seçim problemi Bulanık Analitik HiyerarĢi (BAHS) ile değerlendirilmiĢtir. Üç aday mağaza arasından karar verici tarafından belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda en uygun yerin seçimi yapılmıĢtır.
