Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
in this study, the relationship between the superior thyroid artery and the superior laryngeal nerve was investigated by dissection method in 60 human fetuses (30 male and 30 female) with gestational ages between 14 and 37 weeks. In 5 fetuses (8.33%) superior thyroid artery originated from the common carotid artery and two superior thyroid arteries were observed in one of these fetuses. The external branch of the superior laryngeal nerve on the seven fetuses (11.66%) were observed that crossing from lateral part of the superior thyroid artery and entered to cri cothyroideus muscle. The present study may be useful to reduce and/or prevent the possible complication risks during the thyroid gland operations.
Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışmada; gestasyonel yaşları 14-37 hafta arasında değişen 30 erkek 30 dişi olmak toplam 60 adet insan fetusunda diseksiyon yöntemiyle a. thyroidea superior ile n. laryngeus superior 'un ilişkisi araştırıldı. 5 olguda (% 8.33) a. thyroidea superior'un a. carotis communis'ten ayrıldığı, bu olgulardan 1 tanesinde a. thyroidea superior'un iki adet olduğu gözlendi. Yedi adet fetusta (% 11.66) n. laryngeus superior ramus externus'umm a. thyroidea superior'u dış tarafindan çaprazlayarak m.cricothyroideus'a girdiği gözlendi. Çalışmamızın troid ameliyatlarında operasyon riskinin azaltılmasında ve/veya önlenmesinde yararlı olacağı kanısındayız.
