Alzheimer's disease is a cronic disease of elderly patients which is characterized by cognitive impairment. It is known that the prevalence of the disease increases as life expectancy prolonges. It is aimed that the dentists should be informed about the diagnose treatment and direction of this group patient and the prognosis of the disease

Alzheimer hastalı ^ özellikle yaşlılıkla ortaya çıkan vc hastalarda bilinç bozukluğuna neden okın kronik bir hastalıktır. Günümüzde yaşam süreci uzadıkla bu hastalığın görülme sıklığının da arttığı bilinmektedir. Bu makalede; Alzheimer hastalarının telhisi, tedavisi, yönlendiriJmcsi ve hastalığın progno/.u hakkında diş hekimlerinin bilgilendirilmesi amaçlanmakladır.
