However, intracoronal bleaching technique is the most conservative svstcm accepted recently. Some materials such as sodium perborate, hydrogen peroxide, carbamide peroxide and sodium perearbonate have been used as bleaching agents. It was shown that, intracoronal bleaching using 30% hydrogen peroxide may cause external cervical root resorption. Kor this reason, sodium perborate mixed with water were recommended in bleaching the discoloured pulpiest teeth. The results were given after treating six patients vviih discoloured pulpless teeth using sodium perborate mixed water solution as bleaching agent, the photographs taken for each tooth before and after the operation were compared. Il was concluded that, good bleaching results can be obtained using this technique

Özellikle on bölgedeki devital dişlerin renklenmesi önemli bir estetik problem oluşturmaktadır, Böyle dişlerin tedavisi amacıyla çeşitli yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Ancak, günümüzde hıtrakoronal ağartma tekniği en konservatif seçenek olarak kabul edilmektedir. Ağartına materyali ola--rak""sodyum perborat, hidrojen peroksit, karbamit peroksit vc sodyum perkarbonat yibi çeşitli materyaller kullanılmıştır. %30'luk hidrojen peroksit ile yapılan intrakoronal ağartına işleminin servikal bölgede cksternal kök re/.orp-siyonuna sebep olabileceği bildirilmiştir. Bu yüzden, renklenmiş devital dişlerin ağartıl m ası netti sodyum perborat ve su karışımının kullaıulması tavsiye edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada altı farklı hastadaki renklenmiş, devital dişlerin sodyum perborat ve su karışımıyla ağartıl masıyla elde edilen sonuçlar .sunulmuştur. Tedavi öncesi dişlerin fotoğrafları alındı ve tedavi' sonrası fotoğraflarla karşılaştırıldı. Sonuç olarak, bu teknikle başarılı bir ağartmanın elde edilebileceği görüldü.
