Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışma, medya okuryazarlığı eğitiminin, gençlerin dijital medya ve yeni iletişim teknolojileri deneyimlerinin değişen doğasına uyum sağlaması için nasıl adapte edilmek zorunda olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Haber, reklam ve eğlence medyasını analiz etme sürecine geleneksel biçimde yoğunlaşan öğretmenler, asıl bakış açılarını yeni iletişim araçlarını(cep telefonu, el cihazları), yeni mesaj formlarını (arama motorları, hızlı mesaj, blog ve online (çevrimiçi) eğlence) ve yeni sosyal meseleleri (özdeşlik ve anonimlik, mahremiyet ve gözetim vb.) kapsayacak şekilde genişletmek zorundadırlar. Bu çalışma, bazı kesin kavramsal ilkeleri ve bahsedilen bakış açısındaki kaymayı destekle(me)yen öğretici pratiklere eleştirel yaklaşarak, öğretmenlerin, dijital çağın tamamen katılımcısı olan öğrencinin iletişim ve eleştirel düşünme yeteneklerini güçlendirmeyi amaç edinirken yaşadıkları süreçleri sorgulamaktadır.
