Abstract (2. Language):
Leukoplakia is defined, by WHO (World Health Organization) as a keratotic white plaque that is unscrapable and cannot be diagnosed specifically as any other lesion. Leukoplakia is seen mostfrequently in men older than 40 in any site of die mouth. Histologic changes range from hyperkeratosis, acanthosis, dysplasia and carcinoma in situ. The cases presented are diagnosed as epidermoid carcinoma of le-ukoplastic origin. The aim of this article is to shed light on the diagnosis and treatment of leukoplakia.
