Abstract (2. Language):
Insurance is a very important sector not only for the social welfare of the individuals, but also for the economy of the country. This sector has been flourishing in the gross national product with a share of 1.5 %. For that reason, there has been some various inadequencies in the marketing activities of the insurance companies. In this study, for the purpose of giving some information about these inadequencies, firstly the concept of insurance has been defined, then under the heading of insurance marketing, marketing mix for services and elements of marketing communications have been examined. In the last part of the study, the problems of insurance companies have been analyzed from the point of view of marketing communications.
