Bending dies is very important in sheet metal industry. Since the material leaving the die should be obtained within the allowed tolerance limits, the amount of springback of bending material in bending dies is as important as the die itself. In this study springback amount of the materials in bending process were investigated. In order to obtain the springback in bending, a "V" shaped die was designed. It was aimed to obtain the springback amounts of steel sheet metal have 0.75 mm thickness for various bending angles and the springback graphics in 6 different dies and 10 samples, were bent in different angles and after bending process final bent angles were measured with a optical profile meter. Experimental results were statistically evaluated in a computer media and converted to graphics.

Bükme kalıplarının sac metal endüstrisindeki önemi büyüktür. Kalıptan çıkacak olan parçaların istenilen tolerans sınırları içinde olması için, bükme kalıplarında bükülen malzemelerin geri esneme miktarlarının bilinmesi de bir o kadar önem kazanmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada bükme kalıpları ve bükmede geri esneme konusu araştırılmıştır. Bükmede geri esneme miktarının tespiti için bir "V" kalıbı tasarlanmış ve bu kalıpta 0,75 mm kalınlıktaki sac malzemelerin farklı açılarda ne kadar geri esneyebilecekleri tespit edilerek geri esneme grafikleri elde edilmiştir. Geri esneme farklı kalıpta, her açıda 10' ar adet parça bükülmek suretiyle, kalıptan çıkan parçaların geri esneme miktarları optik profili metre ile ölçülmüştür. Deney sonuçları bilgisayar ortamında excel programının yardımı ile grafiklere dönüştürülmüş ve değerlendirilmiştir.
