Social theory created by intellectuel elites, has been main factor for social change in Western Countries. Social theory having economics, political and administrative dimensions and assuming certain typ of human nature has been creating certain typ of social structure and man. It does not only explain social reality but also creates it. In addition, certain typ of social structure and man are exported by Western World to others.

Batı'da sosyal değişmenin temel dinamiğini aydın elitlerin ürettiği, sosyal teori oluşturmuştur. İktisadi, siyasi ve idari boyutları olan sosyal teorinin amacı, bünyesinde 'insan tabiatı' adı altında varsayım olarak bulundurduğu insan tipini üretmektir. Başka bir deyişle sosyal teori yalnızca sosyal gerçeği açıklamamakta, onu üretmektedir de. Batı kendi insan tipini üretmekle kalmamakta, bu tipi diğer ülkelere ihraç etmektedir.
