Recently, there has been a proliferation of simplified approaches to calculate the KtlVureafrom pre— and postdialytic BUN measuraments in haemodialysis (HD) patients. We studied the relationship of clinical outcome parameters to KtlVurea values derived from different equations in 60 HD patients. There was sta¬tistically significant difference in the values of Kt/Vu-rea obtained (ranging from 0.93+021 to 1.18+0.35, p<0.0001). Although all was well correlated KtlVu-rea values.

Hemodiyaliz (HD) öncesi ve sonrası kan üre azotu (BUN) değerlerinden Kt/Vüre hesaplanması için, lineer regresyon eşitliklerine dayanan birçok basitleştirilmiş formül geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada 46'sı haftada üç gün, 14'ü Use haftada iki gün HD'e giren, 20'si ka¬dın 60 HD hastasında üre kinetik modelleme (ÜKM) ve beş farklı formülle Kt/Vüre değerleri hesaplanarak, klinik parametrelerle ilişkileri araştırıldı. Farklı yöntemlerle hesaplanan bir HD seansının ortalama Kt/Vüre değerleri 0.93+0.21 ile 1.18±0.35 arasında değişmekte olup, yöntemler arasında anlamlı farklılık saptandığı (p<0.0001). Hesaplanan tüm Kt/Vüre de¬ğerleri klinik parametrelerle anlamlı korelasyon gös¬termekle birlikte, en iyi korelasyon gösteren değerlerin Basile formülü ile saptananlar olduğu görüldü.
