TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT ISLAM WANTS FROM MAN

Abstract (2. Language):
The object of the Koran, the lofty book of Islam, is man. The Koran guides behaviors of man. It invites man to research on the nature and the laws of cxistance, and to use his reason and his intellect, thinking about what happens in the universe: "Do they see noting in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that God hath created?" (VII/185)
The Koran attentions in following verse that it was set up a balance in the earth and the heavens by God, and this balance must be protected: "And the firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the balance (of justice), in order that ye may not transgress (due) balance." (LV/7-8)
Men were created differently in point of their biological structure and intellectual abilities. The Koran wants human being to use their diversity for charities: "To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) towards all that is good." (11/148)
The Koran stale that material and moral development of a society is closely related to its situation and attitude, and this development is connected to its free will: "Because God will never change.The grace which He hath bostowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls..." (XI-fl/ll).

Abstract (Original Language):
İslâm'ın Yüce Kitab'ı Kur'an-ı Kerim'in hedefi insandır. Kur'ân, insanın davranışlarına rehberlik eder. İnsanı evrende olup bitenler üzerinde düşünerek tabiatı ve eşyanın kanunlarını araştırmaya, aklını ve zekâsını kullanmaya çağırmakladır: "Göklerle yer sallananım, Allah'ın yarattığı şeylerin hepsine bakmıyorlar mı?" (VII/185).
Allah tarafından yerde ve gökte bir denge kurulduğunu ve bu dengenin korunması gerektiğini Kur'ân şöyle hatırlatmaktadır: "Göğü Allah yükseltti ve mizam (dengeyi) O koydu. Sakın dengeyi bozmayın." (LV/7-8).
İnsanlar, biyolojik yapi ve zihnî kabiliyetleri bakımından farklı olarak yaratılmışlardır. Kur'ân bu farklılığın hayır işlerinde kullanılmasını istemektedir: "Herkesin, yöneldiği bir yön vardır. Siz (başka toplumlarla) yarış edercesine, hayır işlerine koşun..." (11/148).
Kur'ân-ı Kerim, bir toplumun maddî ve manevî yönden kalkınmasının bizzat onun ha! ve gidişiyle çok yakından ilgili olduğunu ve bu gelişmenin onların hür irâdesine bağlı bulunduğunu ifade etmiştir: "Bir millet, kendi özünü değiştirmedikçe, bozmadıkça, Allah da onun halini değiştirmez, bozmaz." (XIII/11).
