Muhammed Hilmi who had lived untill the beginning time of Turkish Republic is the one of the scholar and the poet of Urfa. After his training in Moslem Theological School in Urfa he had gone to Istanbul and continued his education. Besides he had worked in some different official tasks. In this article the review of Hilmi "Is there father of Christ?" which have been written about the article "The Subject of Meryem's Pregnancy", of Milaslı Dr. İsmail Hakkı will be determined.

Muhammed Hilmî, Cumhuriyet'in ilk yıllarına kadar yaşamış Urfalı şair ve âlimlerden biridir. Urfa'daki medrese eğitiminden sonra İstanbul'a giderek orada da eğitimini sürdürmüş ve değişik resmî görevlerde bulunmuştur. Bu makalede, Hilmî'nin, Milaslı Dr. İsmail Hakkı'nın "Haml -i Meryem Meselesi" başlığıyla yayımladığı makaleye reddiye olarak yazdığı "Hz. İsa Aleyhisselsâm'ın Babası Var mı?" isimli risalesi üzerinde durulacaktır.
