Abstract (2. Language): 
This study depends upon the argumentation that the EU enlargement and its financial aids affects the economic growth of the member states and aims to display the correlation between the enlargement and the economic growth by means of the econometric analysis. In the referential framework, the first enlargement waves have been considered and the founding six member states and 12 members whose inclusions had been realized in previous two waves have been excluded. The main reason of so-called exclusion is lack of the time series for the financial aids adequate to constitute a significant and coherent analytical framework. This article prefers to focus on the growing affect of the enlargement instead of the nature and the procedure of the financial aids.

Bu çalışma, AB’nin genişlemesi ve sağladığı mali yardımların üye ülkelerin ekonomik büyümelerine etkili olduğu argümanından hareket etmektedir. Yaptığımız ekonometrik analiz bu tezi doğrulamış ve genişlemelerin ekonomik büyümeleri tetikleyen bir faktör olduğunu ortaya çıkartmıştır. Genişleme süreci kapsamında ilk dört genişleme esas alınmış, kurucu ilk altı üye ve son iki genişleme dalgasına dahil olan 12 üye kapsam dışında tutulmuştur. Bunun nedeni; son üye ülkelerin ekonomik verilerinin henüz anlamlı ve tutarlı bir analiz çerçevesi oluşturacak kadar mali yardım hususunda uzun bir zaman serisine sahip olmamasıdır. Bu makale, mali yardımların içeriği ve prosedürüne yoğunlaşmaktan ziyade, ortaya çıkarttığı büyüme olgusu üzerine odaklanmıştır.
