Bilgi teknolojilerinin organizasyonlarda uygulanmaya ba+land,1950'li yllardan günümüze de,in bilgi teknolojilerinin organizasyonlarnüzerindeki etkisinin ne olaca,akademisyenler ve sektör temsilcileri tarafndan belirlenmeye çal+lmaktadr. Teknolojik ilerlemeler yeni frsatlar sunmakta, organizasyonlar yeni ihtiyaçlar duymaktadr ve dolaysyla yeni uygulamalar geli+tirilmektedir. Bilgi teknolojisi uygulamalar, özellikle organizasyon yaplar, i+letmelerin faaliyet biçimleri, mü+teri ve tedarikçileriyle ileti+im kurma yöntemleri üzerinde önemli de,i+ikliklere yol açmaktadr. Bu çal+mada, çevresel de,i+kenlik ve rekabet basklar nedeniyle organizasyonlarn faaliyet biçimlerini temelden de,i+tirme aray+içinde olduklar örgütsel de,i+im sürecinde bilgi teknolojilerinin rolü vurgulanmaktadr. Örgütsel de,i+im sürecinin önemli unsurlar yeni sistemin tasarm, kurulumu ve i+leyi+i ile organizasyon yapsnda gereken de,i+ikliklerin bütünle+tirilme sürecidir. Bu çal+mada, bilgi teknolojilerinin bu süreç içerisinde hem de,i+imi mümkün klan hem de di,er unsurlar bütünle+tirici bir faktör oldu,uileri sürülmektedir. Bununla birlikte teknolojik yaplandrma için bilgi teknolojilerinin i+letme süreçleri ile ili+kilendirilmesi ve de,i+ime kar+olu+abilecek dirence sosyo-teknik bir yakla+mgeli+tirilmesi gerekmektedir.
