Abstract (2. Language):
This aim of this study is to obtain the expectations of private sectors from students which are graduated
from textile and clothing production technology programme. In this scope, expectations are obtained by
the way of meeting and making a survey with the taskmasters.
This survey which was consisted of twenty questions and five likert scale, based on statistical analysis.
Twenty sector representer was attended to survey. In the scope of the survey, a lot of İnformation was given about textile and clothing production technology education. Finally goals are reached by the way
of presenting survey, methods and hypothesis.
After the survey, private sector expectations which are reletad with graduated student from textile and
clothing production technology was obtained. Result of the survey showed that classes which are taken
at university practically and theoretically does not meet requirements of the sector. According to the
findings, results were disputed and advices were given.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, özel sektörde faaliyet gösteren kuruluşların Tekstil ve Giyim Üretim Teknolojisi
programı mezunu öğrencilerine verilen eğitimden beklentilerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu kapsamda ülkemizde
bulunan özel sektördeki işverenler ile görüşülmüş ve anket çalışması yapılarak Meslek
Yüksekokullarından beklentilerin ne olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Toplam 20 sorudan oluşan anket 5’li likert ölçeğine göre hazırlanmış ve istatiksel analizleri yapılmıştır.
Ankete 20 sektör temsilcisi katılmıştır. Çalışmada Meslek Yüksekokulu Tekstil ve giyim üretim Teknolojisi
eğitimi ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş ve yapılan araştırmanın amacı, yöntemi ve hipotezleri ortaya konularak
sonuca ulaşılmıştır.
Çalışma sonrasında özel sektörde faaliyet gösteren kuruluşların Meslek Yüksekokulu Tekstil ve Giyim
Üretim Teknolojisi programı mezunlarından beklentilerinin neler olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma
sonuçlarına göre mezun öğrencilerin aldıkları mesleki ve uygulamalı derslerinin sektörün beklentisini
yeteri kadar karşılamadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bulgular doğrultusunda sonuçlar tartışılmış ve önerilerde
bulunulmuştur.
