Abstract (2. Language):
al-Imam al-Maturîdî is considered the founder of Maturîdızm. He developed and
systematized views of Abu Hanîfa about faith. His views of faith defended by his successor
such as an-Nasafi, al- Pezdevi and as-Sabunî who are scholars in Maturîdîzm. He discussed
the theological views in details in his book al-Kıtabu’t-Tawhid. In Maturîdızm, the faith
means affirmation. For this reason, the issues of faith shaped within the framework of
affirmation.

İmam Mâturîdî, Mâturîdîliğin kurucusu olarak kabul edilir. O, Ebu Hanife’nin imana
ilişkin görüşlerini geliştirmiş ve sistemleştirmiştir. Onun imana ilişkin görüşleri kendisinden
sonra Nesefi, Pezdevi ve Sabuni gibi Mâturîdî bilginler tarafından savunulmuştur.
O, itikâdi görüşlerini Kitabu’t-Tevhid adlı eserinde ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele almıştır. Mâturîdîlikte
iman tasdik demektir. Bu sebeple iman ile ilgili konular tasdik çerçevesinde
şekillenmiştir.
