Psychogenic purpura is a rare syndrome manifesting itself as bleedings from mucosal and skin surfaces, but hemostatic screening tests are completely within normal limits. The disease symptoms may include paroxysmal abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, joint pains, headache, epistaxis, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and bleeding from eyes , ears. Dissociative reactions, psychogenic traumas in childhood, symptoms of conversion and hysteria have been reported in cases of psychogenic purpura. Our case has presented with bleeding from nose, eyes, ears together with psychiatric disorders.

Psikojenik purpura hemostatik testlerin normal oldu¤u, cilt ve mukozal kanamalar ile belirti veren nadir bir sendromdur. Tekrarlayan kar›n a¤r›s›, bulant›, kusma, artralji, bafl a¤r›s›, epistaksis, gastrointestinal kanama, göz ve kulak kanamas› gibi de¤iflik belirtilerle kendini gösterir. Psikojenik purpural› baz› hastalarda, hemorajik bulgular ile birlikte dissosiyatif bozukluk, çoçuklukta yaflanan psikojenik travmalar konversiyon semptomlar› ve histeri tarif edilmifltir. Bizim vakam›z burun, gözler ve kulaklarda kanama ve psikiyatrik bozukluklarla ortaya ç›km›flt›r
