Abstract (2. Language):
Oral candidiosis is the most common oppurtunistic fungal infection encountered in dentistry. C.albicans adhesion of denture materials is widely recognized as the main reason for the development of denture stomatitis. Poorly fitting prosthesis or the prosthesis that is not property cleaned is being known to increase the risk of the infection caused by the adhesion of C albicans. The aim of this review was summarize characteristics of adhesion of C.albicans in dental infections.
Abstract (Original Language):
Kandida enfeksiyonaarı, dişhekimliğinde bilinen en yaygın mantar enfeksiyon/arındandır. C. albicans protez kaynaklı stomatitisin b/linen en önemli etkenidir. Doku uyumu bozulmuş hareketi protezlerin ve iyi temizlenmeyen protezlerin, C.albicans'ın mukozaya yapışması yolu ile oluşacağı enfeksiyon riskini arttırdıkları bilinmektedir. Bu derlemede dişhekimliğinde görülen enfeksiyonların başlıca etkeni olan C.albicans'ın yapışma özelliklerinin özetlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
