In this study, Kenny Music Performance Anxiety Inventory was analyzed in terms of linguistic equivalance, validity and realibility in order to adapt the Music Performance Anxiety Performance into Turkish culture. The study was conducted with 696 students who attendent to Music Education Department in different universities. After the validity and reliability studies of the six-point Likert-style inventory, it is found that the adapted version of inventory has 25 items, which is distributed in five factors. Inventory’s Cronbach Alpha is .895 and the item-total correlations are between .336 and .651.

Bu araştırmada Kenny Müzik Performans Kaygısı Envanteri’nin dilsel eşdeğerlik, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarının yapılarak envanterin Türk kültürüne adaptasyonu çalışmasının paylaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma çeşitli üniversitelerin Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları’nda lisans eğitimlerine devam eden 696 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. 6’li Likert tipindeki envanterin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları sonucunda envanterin Türkçe’ye uyarlamış şeklinin beş faktörde dağılan 25 maddeden oluştuğu saptanmıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı .895 olarak bulunmuştur. Maddelerin madde toplam korelasyonları .336 ile .651 arasında değişmektedir.
