KRONİK ELEKTROD İMPLANTE EDİLEN KEDİLERDE PASİF ODDBALL YANITLARINDAKİ OLAYA-İLİŞKİN GAMMA BANDI AKTİVİTESİ

Abstract (2. Language):
Auditory oddbail paradigm was applied to 8 çatş with..implanted.chrgniç electT_o: des in the auditory and visual sensory cortices, medial and lateral geniculate nuclei and hippo-campus. The increase of the auditory event-related potentials (ERP) to deviant stimuli compa-red to the auditory ERPs to Standard stimuli during the period of first 200-250 ms, is an elect-rophysiological indicator for the presence of automatic cognitİve processes in the cat. The pa-rallel increase of the gamma response to deviant stimuli in the auditory cortex and hippocam-pus suggests that the gamma response has a role in the information transfer between neural structures during cognitive processes.
