In this study it is aimed to prospectively assess 43 patients with hypertension dependent to pregnancy who were followed in Selçuk University, School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This study was performed between 1.6.1998 and 31.12.1998 prospectively. The study group consisted of 43 preeclamptic pregnant and the control group of 43 normal pregnant. The groups were compared for blood biochemistry and clinical properties. Thirty-four severe preeclampsia and 9 mild preeclampsia were determined in 43 preeclamptic pregnant. A difference for SGOT, SGPT between mild preeclampsia and severe preeclampsia was determined (p<0.05). Any difference for gestational age, maternal age, hemoglobin, hematocrite, platelet, urea, uric acid, creatinin, total protein, albumin, PT, aPTT and fibrinogen parameters between mild preeclampsia and severe preeclampsia was not determined (p>0.05). A difference for total protein, urea and uric acid between mild preeclampsia and control group was determined (p<0.05). Also statistical difference was found between severe preeclampsia and control group for hemoglobine, hematocrite, platelet, creatinin, urea, uric acid, SGOT, SGPT, total protein and albumin (p<0.05). The preeclampsia carries significant risks for mother and fetus and a lot of systems are affected. Antenatal care in the preeclamptic pregnant neeeds to be performed regulary. The pregnants in whom hypertension is determined should be followed carefully

Bu çalışmada Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Kliniği 'nde 01. 06.1998 ile 31.12.1998 tarihleri arasında takip edilen 43 gebeliğe bağlı hipertansiyon vakasının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada 43 preeklamptik vaka prospektif olarak incelendi. Ayrıca 43 vakalık kontrol grubu oluşturuldu. Gruplar kan biyokimyası ve klinik özellikler açısından karşılaştırıldı. Gebeliğe bağlı hipertansiyon teşhisi konulan 43 vakanın 9'unda hafif, 34'ünde ağır preeklampsi belirlendi. Bu gruplar kendi aralarında ve kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldı. Hafif preeklampsi ile ağır preeklampsi arasında SGOT ve SGPT değerlerinde anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilirken (p<0.05), gebelik haftası, yaş, gebelik sayısı, hemoglobin, hematokrit, trombosit, üre, ürik asit, kreatin, total protein, albumin, PT, aPTT ve fibrinojen değerleri bakımından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı (p>0.05). Hafif preeklampsi grubu ile kontrol grubu karşılaştırıldığında albumin, total protein, üre ve ürik asit değerleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulundu (p<0.05). Ağır preeklampsi grubu ile kontrol grubu karşılaştırıldığında ise hemoglobin, hematokrit, trombosit, kreatin, üre, ürik asit, SGOT, SGPT, total protein ve albumin değerleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulundu (p<0.05). Gebeliğe bağlı hipertansiyon vakaları anne açısından ciddi riskler taşımakta, pek çok sistem etkilenmektedir. Antenatal takipler düzenli olarak yapılmalı ve hipertansiyon tespit edilen gebeler yakından izlenmelidir.
