Abstract (2. Language):
A model which has not been considered for any other medical discipline and has not been implemented for specialty training in medicine in any other country has been proposed as an alternative route to current family medicine specialty training in our country. Furthermore, there are no prerequisites specific to our country for this claim. In this position paper the applications of part-time spe¬cialty training in medicine, and the model of "part-time distance specialty training" described by Ministry of Health are reviewed and discussed in line with current tasks of developing family medicine specialty training in our country.
