Abstract (2. Language):
Purpose: The aim of this in vitro study was to examine the effects of different based root canal sealers on thermal changes on the root surface in root canal fillings produced by the continuous wave warm vertical compaction technique using the System B heat source. Material and Method: In this study in which 48 noncarious human upper canine teeth extracted for periodontal and prosthetic reasons were used, the crowns of the teeth were removed by sectioning the cement-enamel junction using a fine diamond disc to obtain equal root lengths. The root canals of the teeth with determined study lengths were enlarged by the Crown-down technique using the Hero Shaper rotary instrument and 5.25% hypochloride solution. Crown preparation was completed by using Gates Glidden. A total of 6 thermocouples were placed along the longitudinal axis of the teeth on root surfaces; 3 in the vestibule, 2 in the palatine, and 1 in the apical region. The teeth were immersed in water bath at 37 0C with their canal openings outside, and root parts outside the bath. The root canal of each tooth in the experiment groups in which 5 different based root canal sealers were used and in the control groups in which no sealers were used were filled by the continuous wave warm vertical compaction technique. During the preparation of root canal fillings, thermal changes at the root surface of each region in which thermocouples were placed were recorded for 10 seconds. Results: In terms of the thermal increase at the root surface that occurred during canal filling using the root canal sealers, the sealers were ranked as Diaket > Endomethasone > AH Plus > Control Group > Sealapex and the highest mean thermal increase was observed in the fillings prepared with Diaket (+ 1.954 0C), and the increase was lowest in those prepared with Sealapex (+0.959 0C). Except for between the Endomethasone and AH plus groups, these differences were determined to be statistically significant between groups (P<0.001). ıt was determined that thermal changes at the root surface during root canal filling showed a timedependent linear increase; and there were differences in thermal changes between the regions in which thermocouples were placed; however, these differences were not statistically significant (P>0.001).

Amaç: Bu in vitro çalışmamızın amacı, devamlı ısıyla vertikal kompaksiyon tekniği ile Sistem B ısı kaynağı kullanılarak yapılan kök kanal dolgularında, kök yüzeyinde oluşan ısı değişiklikleri üzerine farklı esaslı kök kanal patlarının etkilerini incelemekti. Gereç ve Yöntem: Periodontal ve protetik nedenlerle çekilmiş 48 adet çürüksüz üst kanin insan dişi kullanılarak yapılan bu çalışmada, dişlerin kök boyları eşit uzunlukta olacak şekilde kuronları ince bir elmas disk yardımıyla mine sement bölgesinden kesilerek uzaklaştırıldı. Çalışma uzunluğu belirlenen dişlerin kök kanalları, Hero Shaper döner alet ve % 5,25 ‘lik hipoklorit solusyonu kullanılarak Crown down tekniği ile genişletildi. Gates Glidden frez ile kuronal preparasyon tamamlandı. Dişlerin uzun ekseni boyunca kök yüzeylerine, vestibülde 3, palatinalde 2 ve apikalde 1 olmak üzere toplam 6 adet termokupl yerleştirildi. Dişler kanal ağızları dışarıda, kök kısmı içeride olacak şekilde 37 0C’ye ayarlanmış su banyosu içine konuldu. Değişik esaslı 5 adet kök kanal patının kullanıldığı deney grupları ve patın kullanılmadığı kontrol gruplarındaki her bir dişin kök kanalı devamlı ısıyla vertikal kompaksiyon tekniği ile dolduruldu. Kök kanalı dolgu yapım esnasında Termokupl’ların yerleştirildiği alanların her birinde kök yüzeyinde oluşan ısı değişimleri 10’ar saniye süreyle kaydedildi.
