This study aimed to examine views of student teachers to application of micro-teaching The study was conducted within the scope of School Experience course offered in, Science Teacher Education Program in the spring term of 2012-2013 study years. The sample of the study consists of 28 Science Teacher Education Program student teachers in Pamukkale University. Case study method was used in this study. Data were gathered through and questionnaire conducted with student teachers. Qualitative data were examined through descriptive analysis. Advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of microteaching approach were discussed in the light of student teachers’ views. Student teachers have developed a positive attitude towards the implementation of the microteaching application. At the same time, microteaching application has been seen to be useful in solving the problems student teachers faced in the preparing, presentation and handling of lesson process
Abstract (Original Language): 
Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmen eğitiminde kullanılan mikro-öğretim uygulamasının avantaj ve dezavantajlarının öğretmen adaylarının görüşleri doğrultusunda tespit etmektir. Çalışma 2012-2013 öğretim yılı güz döneminde Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretmenliği Programında Okul Deneyimi dersi kapsamında yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmanın örneklemini Pamukkale Üniversitesi Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretmenliği programındaki 28 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, özel durum çalışması yöntemi ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler, uygulama sırasında öğretmen adaylarının hazırladıkları günlükler ve uygulama sonunda anket ile elde edilmiştir. Nitel verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler frekans ve yüzde hesabı yapılarak analiz edilerek tablo halinde sunulmuştur. Mikro-öğretim uygulamasının üstün ve zayıf yönleri öğretmen adaylarının görüşleri ışığı altında tartışılmıştır. Öğretmen adayları mikro-öğretim uygulamalarına karşı olumlu tutum geliştirmişlerdir. Aynı zamanda mikro-öğretimin, öğretmen adayının derse hazırlanma, dersi sunma ve işlemede karşılaşılan problemlerin çözümünde yararlı olduğu görülmüştür
