Abstract (2. Language):
In distance education, control of the students about continuing virtual classes highly controversial. Especially
only one or a few criteria which are set by the Instructor are not sometimes accepted in the student side. In
some cases, the other expected outcomes of education by giving priority to certain of these criteria are
ignored. Since objective and measurable criteria have not been set, all course activities cannot be considered.
This case raises important issues in the implementation of the course. In this study, the criteria about the
student's attendance which are determined according to teacher’s choices are aimed to design a Reporting
Add-in for Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). While these criteria are determined in the Reports
Section of the Moodle LMS of the all tools such as Recording, Live logs, Activity reporting and Course
participation use in evaluation of criteria that will be chosen by the Instructor from Course Activities and
Resources according to the weighted schema are intended to be developed. This Reporting Add-in as a result of the attendance of the students who register for the course will evaluated as CONTINUE/DISCONTINUE students
and finally will aim to determine from Moodle LMS.

Uzaktan Eğitimde öğrencilerin derse devam etme hususunun kontrolü oldukça tartışmalı bir durumdur.
Özellikle dersi yürüten Öğretim Elemanlarının belirlediği sadece bir yada birkaç kriter bazen öğrenci tarafında
kabul görmemektedir. Bazı durum da sadece belli başlı bu kriterlere öncelik vererek eğitimin diğer beklenen
çıktıları göz ardı edilmektedir. Objektif ve ölçülebilir kriterler konulmadığından ders etkinliklerinin tamamı göz
önüne alınamamaktadır. Bu durum dersin uygulanmasında önemli sorunları beraberinde getirmektedir. Moodle
Öğrenme Yönetim Sistemleri (ÖYS) için öğrencinin derse devam etme kriterlerinin dersi veren öğretim elemanı
tarafından seçime bağlı olarak belirlenmesi ve otomatik olarak kontrolüne yönelik bir Raporlama Eklentisi
tasarımının yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kriterler belirlenirken Moodle ÖYS’de Raporlar bölümünde var olan
tüm araçlar (Kayıtlar, Canlı günlükler, Etkinlik raporu ve Ders katılımı gibi) kullanılarak Ders Etkinlikleri ve
Kaynakları içinden dersi yürüten Öğretim Elemanının belirleyeceği ağırlıklara göre bir değerlendirme ölçütü
geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu ölçtün sonucu olarak derse kayıt olan öğrencilerin devam kriteri yine bu
Raporlama Eklentisi tarafından değerlendirilerek DEVAM/DEVAMSIZ öğrencilerin Moodle ÖYS'den belirlenmesi
hedeflenmektedir.
