MICRO-TENSILE BOND STRENGTHS OF ADHESIVE SYSTEMS TO DEEP AND SUPERFICIAL DENTIN

The purpose of this study was to compare the micro-tensile bond strcngths(^TBS) of total-etch [Prime&BondNT-PBNT, Single Bond-SB, Excite-EB, One Coat Bond-OCB] and self-etch [Clearfıl SE Bond-CSEB, Xeno III-XIII, Tyrian/One Step Plus-TOSP. Prompt L-Pop-PLP] adhesive systems on superficial dentin and deep dentin. Fifty six extracted, non-carious 3rd molar teeth were used in this study. Superficial occlusal dentin was exposed, and a block of resin composite (TPH Spectrum) bonded with the adhesives. The specimens were cut in the z and y axis, parallel to the longitudinal tooth axis, using a diamond disc. The obtained sticks were then divided into two regional groups (superficial or deep dentin) according to the remaining dentin thickness. The sticks composed composite-rcsin-dentin were stressed at a crosshead speed öf 1 mm/min until rupture of the bond. The mean /xTBS values were compared using Two way analysis of variance (n =0.05). There was no statistical difference between the bond strength of adhesive systems to deep and superficial dentin area ^p>0.05). Total-etch systems obtained higher bond strength than the self-etch adhesive systems, except for CSEB (p<0.05). The depth of dentin may be not important on bond strength of actual dentin adhesive systems.

Bu çalışmanın amacı total-eich [Prime&BondNT-PBNT, Single Bond-SB, Excite-EB. One Coal Bond-OCB] ve self-etch [Clearfıl SE Bond-CSEB. Xeno III-XIII, Tyrian/One Step Plus-TOSP. Prompt L-Pop-PLP] adezif sistemlerin derin ve yüzeyel dentine mikro-tensile bağlanma (/iTBS) dayanımlarını karşılaştırmaktır. Bu çalışmada 56 adet çekilmiş, çürük içermeyen mandibular 3. büyük azı dişi kullanıldı. Yüzeyel okluzal dentin açığa çıkarıldı ve kompozit reçine (TPH Spectrum) bir adezif" reçine ile bağlandı. Örnekler z ve y aksları yönünde, dişin uzun aksına paralel, bir elmas disk kullanarak kesildi. Elde edilen çubuklar gende kalan dentin kalınlığına göre yüzeyel ve derin dentin olarak iki gruba ayrıldı Kompozit-reçine-dentin üçlüsünden oluşan çubuklara, bağlantıda kopma oluncaya kadar, 1 mm/dk hızla kuvvet uygulandı. Ortalama /xTBS değerleri iki yönlü varyans analizi kullanılarak karşılaştırıldı (a =0.05). Adezif sistemlerin derin ve yüzeyel denline bağlanma dayanımları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı (p>0.05). Total-etch adezif sistemler, CSEB dışındaki, self-eteh adezif sistemlere göre daha yüksek bağlanma dayanımı gösterdi (p<0.05). Güncel denlin adezif sistemlerin demine bağlanma dayanımında dentin derinliği önemli olmayabilir.
