Abstract (2. Language):
Alcohol, related with diseases and violence; is a kind of substance that is most seen in toxicology labs and can make some problems for forensic medicine physicians. While searching for the effects of alcohol, here may be questions about the effects of alcohol on physiologic functions, behaviours, driving vehicles, activities about jobs and social behaviours. Also some more questions may be born on forensic autopsies like, whether the substance causing death is ethyl alcohol or not, is it playing role in addition to other toxins, is it causing death primarly when there is no toxin, how does it affect the behaviours before the death , the amount of alcohol in blood in late death cases. In this review, the forensic medicine problems related with alcohol will be discussed and the legal arrangements will be taken into account.
