Abstract (2. Language):
Objective: The main aim of this study was to evaluate the perspectives of our physicians and hospital
pharmacists working at the hospitals in Antalya towards “clinical pharmacy”, and to determine their
relevant expectations.
Material and Methods: The survey studies were conducted between 10.16.2014 and 01.25.2015
in Antalya. The participants of the survey consisted of 79 physicians of our hospital and 32 pharmacists
from 4 different hospitals. The data gathered were assessed with the SPSS 18.0 statistical software
package.
Results: The percentage of pharmacists willing to work actively with physicians was 68% and
the percentage of physicians willing to work actively with pharmacists was 62%. Although 65% of
the pharmacists suggested that physicians do not consult with pharmacists to choose the relevant
medicines, 52% of the physicians stated that pharmacists should assist the physician in choosing the
relevant medicines. Besides, the physicians indicated that they would like to be informed about drug
interactions, side effects, and Health Profession Practice Law regulations by the pharmacist.
Conclusion: The majority of the physicians that participated in the survey favored working with
pharmacists. The majority of the pharmacists that participated in the survey felt that there could
problems such as disagreement on choosing the relevant medicine or jurisdictional disputes regarding the relevant services unless the clinical pharmacy's responsibilities were explained thoroughly to the physicians. We believe that briefings
and promotional work carried out in cooperation with the faculties of pharmacy, hospital administrations and pharmacy responsible
managers will be beneficial, and will contribute to ensuring physician-pharmacist cooperation with a multidisciplinary approach.

Abstract (Original Language):
Elde edilen veriler SPSS 18,0 bilgisayar istatistik paket programındaki
uygulamalardan yararlanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
Bulgular: Anketimizde, kliniklerde hekimle birlikte aktif olarak çalışmak isteyen eczacıların oranı
%68 iken, klinik eczacı ile birlikte çalışmak isteyen hekimlerin oranı %62 olmuştur. Eczacıların %65’i
